How’d you get started?
Teaching finance classes; it seems silly since I never write about that now.

Any posts that showcase my son; he is my greatest achievement!

Does Pinterest count? I love being inspired and creating new dishes from what I have seen.
What is the best thing about blogging?
I can experience the world with my son as he grows up. We learn together in textbooks and then are physically able to see it firsthand. Hands-down, that is my inspiration for putting in those late nights on my laptop.
The worst thing about blogging?
The late nights on my laptop! I am always working because I do not like to settle for "just OK.”
Is there a recipe you’re currently obsessed with?
Yes! My nautical/pirate-themed Jell-O cup and chocolate-covered pretzel recipes we created for my son's birthday party.
What would even your most loyal followers be surprised to learn about you?
We completely eliminated sugar from our house due to my son's strict dietary needs. Even Pepsi (and oh, how I miss it!).
