Kefir cheese balls - spicy appetizer recipe!

Spicy balls as an appetizer or sandwich spread. The recipe is simple, but it takes a little patience. Aromatic and appetizing balls of kefir cheese.

1. Release the kefir from the package and leave it on the table for 20-30 minutes. After that, cut it into 2-3 parts.

2. Place the sieve on top of a bowl, cover it with 3-4 layers of gauze, add the kefir, cover it with gauze and leave it at room temperature for 6-8 hours, until it melts. Periodically pour the whey, which will drain.

3. After the kefir thaws and decreases in volume, place a plate on top, then a weight (a jar of jam) and refrigerate the dish for 18 hours.

Advice. For balls, you can also prepare cottage cheese or cream cheese.

4. Transfer the composition to a bowl, add salt and black pepper, then mix until smooth.

5. Add universal spice, mix again, take 1 teaspoon of the composition and shape into balls.

6. In a bowl, add chopped garlic, dried tomatoes with basil, oil and mix.

7. Add the balls so that they are completely covered (if necessary, pour more oil), put the lid on, shake the bowl, distribute the spices, and refrigerate for 10-12 hours.

Advice. Choose a roomy bowl with enough ball space.

The balls can be kept in the refrigerator for 4-5 days, and when you need them, take them out and serve them as such, as an appetizer, or grease them on toast. The balls keep their shape very well, inside they are soft. Experiment with spices and get new tastes every time. Delicious, fragrant, exceptional!

1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons sour cream
10 tablespoons grated emmentaler

Preparation of fluffy cheese balls:

Scrape the grater over the small grater and mix with the fluffy cheese. Add 2 tablespoons sour cream, finely chopped green parsley, garlic powder, roasted and coarsely chopped walnuts, diced hot pepper, lemon juice and dissolved gelatin.

Mix everything and season with salt. We put the composition in food foil and place it in a round bowl and then let it cool for a few hours (I leave it in the cold overnight). Unpack, break the pieces of the composition and form balls that are given through chopped pistachios, poppy seeds or paprika. Serve with crispy biscuits or toortitzi with salt or seed mix.
